Dear Praying Friends,
Just last Sunday night Jordan returned from his Cross Country Tournament in Guam. It was an amazing experience as their team placed 4th out of 22 teams throughout Southeast Asia. A hour before his 5K race terrential rains began pouring down and so it was a very challenging race with runners running in knee deep water in some places, sliding in the mud, etc. Joshua is looking forward to starting his middle school basketball season this coming week.
Today is All Saints Day. It is a very important Holiday here in the Philippines. Most Filipinos will be going to the cemetaries lighting candles to remember their dead loved ones as well as offering prayers on their behalf. This is always an opportunity to be ready for sharing the love of Christ as people are thinking more about life and death.
Larry has been enjoying the opportunities that the Lord has entrusted to him in coaching church planters. This past week we were able to be involved in a SEND training (MOP) for sending out Filipinos in reaching the unreached. We are excited to have 14 new members in this training. Pray as they build their support team. We are planning a short term Filipino team to experience a two week mission's trip to Thailand in the new year. Pray for Larry as he will travelling to the US for a Conference the day before Thanksgiving and on his way he will be able to visit Jana for a few days and spend Thanksgiving with her.
